Staff Involvement and Family and Community Engagement

The staff involvement (SI) and family community engagement (FCE) components of the CSPAP framework constitute support system for program implementation sustainability. These embody essence because they focus on coordination synergy needed a successful program, such attributes are hallmark multicomponent approaches to school-based health promotion. But what does it take galvanize school staff, families, communities in collective effort bolster quality physical education promote increase activity (PA) children adolescents?In this article, authors summarize research SI FCE, particularly over past decade. While these is still its emergent stages, we identify key findings date suggest strategies translating practice. It our hope that article will provide PA leaders (PALs) teacher educators with actionable ideas more fully leverage system.
